Behavioral interview coaching
In hundreds of debriefs, I have seen very good candidates miss the bar. I coach those candidates to tell their stories better and land the job they should be getting.

Coaching
We work through your own STAR examples, from the interviewer's side of the table. You leave knowing how your answers will land, what the interview will be like, and what to fix before you walk in.
Times show in your own time zone. Reschedule up to 4 hours before the session.
How it works
Pick a time that works for you. The calendar shows your own time zone.
Share your stories, notes or the job description at least 4 hours before. I read it before we meet.
60 minutes on your own examples. Honest, specific feedback on how they would land.
You get a note with the key points, so you can keep working on your stories after the session.
Client reviews
"As a non-native English speaker, I sometimes struggled to clearly articulate my thoughts during interviews. My session with Coen gave me valuable insights on how to structure my narratives, highlight key points, and tighten my responses to show impact. It helped me see things beyond the STAR format. After my session, I could present my experiences more clearly and feel confident during interviews."
"Coen helped me prepare for a series of important interviews, and working with him was genuinely valuable. He strikes the right balance between honest and uplifting, which gave me real confidence going in. You can tell he has extensive experience on the other side of the table, and he used that to help me prepare in a way that felt practical and grounded rather than generic. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants to show up at their best."
"I had a coaching session with Coen and found it extremely valuable. As an Amazon Bar Raiser and hiring manager, he brings a unique perspective on how candidates are actually evaluated. His feedback was clear, practical, and highly actionable. I would highly recommend him to anyone preparing for interviews."
About Coen
Over 13 years at Amazon I have conducted 800+ interviews, 200+ of them as a Bar Raiser. In the debrief room, the verdict is rarely about experience. It is about the answers: whether the evidence is there.
That is a learnable skill. I coach people in non-engineering roles preparing for interviews at big tech and fast-growing companies, from the Netherlands, working with clients in the US, Europe and beyond.
